CSCIB has expressed optimism regarding the burgeoning new cycle of lithium batteries, primarily driven by the exponential growth in energy storage demand. In terms of market demand, projections indicate that by 2026, the global demand for lithium batteries will surge to 3,065 GWh, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 33.7%. This surge is anticipated to fuel a rapid escalation in the demand for lithium battery electrolytes. From a supply-demand perspective, 6F and VC are expected to maintain a tight balance by 2026. Meanwhile, the supply dynamics in other segments of the electrolyte market are projected to improve, with solvent prices anticipated to stabilize at reasonable levels. CSCIB holds a positive outlook on the profit transformation within the electrolyte industry chain, particularly focusing on the 6F and VC segments, as the lithium battery sector enters this new cycle, and it strongly recommends these segments.
