On March 13th, the inaugural meeting of the Standardization Technical Committee for User Experience in Information Technology and Electronic Products—operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology—took place in Beijing. The establishment of this committee is aligned with the strategic decisions and plans set forth by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, which emphasize the development of China into a manufacturing powerhouse, a leader in quality excellence, and a dominant force in cyberspace. By prioritizing standardization efforts, the committee aims to bolster the creation and implementation of high-quality standards, drive enhancements in the quality of information technology and electronic products, facilitate consumption upgrades, and nurture the growth of high-caliber industrial development. The committee's core responsibilities include the drafting and refinement of foundational, overarching, and shared technical standards pertaining to user experience within the realm of information technology and electronic products. Its secretariat is situated at the China Electronics Quality Management Association.
