Recently, Ruitai New Material revealed during institutional research that the company specializes in lithium-ion battery electrolyte additives, predominantly in the form of lithium salts. These include lithium difluorophosphate, lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, lithium difluorooxalate borate, and lithium trifluoromethanesulfonate. Notably, these products, which boast high technical barriers to entry, have found widespread application in power lithium-ion batteries. They significantly enhance battery performance across a range of conditions, including high and low temperatures, cycling efficiency, and fast-charging capabilities. Concurrently, some of these additives have been incorporated into emerging battery technologies, such as solid-state lithium-ion batteries, and have successfully reached bulk shipment status.
