Recently, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) released its 2025 financial report, which disclosed that the company’s founder, Zeng Yuqun, had received a remarkable RMB 8.1 billion in annual personal dividends. This figure surpasses the combined annual net profits of 10 major domestic automakers. According to the financial report, CATL’s operating revenue for 2025 reached RMB 423.702 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 17.04%. Its net profit attributable to shareholders stood at RMB 72.201 billion, marking a year-on-year rise of 42.28%. Throughout the year, the company distributed a total of RMB 36.1 billion in cash dividends, which accounted for 50% of its net profit.
