Supported by the “new national system for mobilizing resources across the country,” China’s commercial aerospace sector has entered a “golden age” of growth. In terms of policy, the China National Space Administration (CNSA) has established a dedicated commercial aerospace division and issued guiding documents, while local governments have rolled out policies to refine the market environment. On the corporate side, startups are working alongside the “national team” and leading private firms to collectively enhance the industrial ecosystem and drive technological advancements. However, for the commercial aerospace industry to reach maturity and sustain long-term growth, it must still address challenges such as cost reduction and reliability improvement. This year, several new rocket models are expected to attempt recovery operations.
