On March 9th, reports surfaced suggesting that Tianyin Interstellar, a subsidiary of Tianyin Machine and Electricity, was rumored to be a frontrunner in the global commercial satellite stellar sensor industry. The company was allegedly a steady supplier of high-precision star sensors for SpaceX's second- and third-generation Starlink satellites, drawing significant market interest. That same day, Tianyin Machine and Electricity issued a response on an interactive platform, clarifying that the rumors regarding supplying components to SpaceX were untrue. Company representatives further explained that while they are actively expanding their presence in the U.S. market, they have not yet secured a supply contract with SpaceX. Nevertheless, the company has been a consistent supplier for the domestic equivalent of Starlink, known as the Qianfan Constellation.
