According to reports, Tianyin Stars, a subsidiary of Tianyin Machinery, stands as a prominent player in the global commercial satellite star sensor industry. It has been rumored to be a steady supplier of high-precision star sensors for SpaceX's second- and third-generation Starlink satellites, a claim that has sparked significant market interest. On March 9, Tianyin Machinery addressed the rumors of 'supplying for SpaceX' on an interactive platform, clarifying that such information is baseless. On the same day, a representative from Tianyin Machinery emphasized that while the company is actively expanding its presence in the U.S. market, it has not yet secured any supply contracts from SpaceX. Nevertheless, the company has been providing components for the domestic equivalent of Starlink, known as the Qianfan Constellation.
