On the afternoon of February 25, the commercial space sector continued its upward trajectory, with several stocks, notably Aerospace Development, reaching the daily limit. In related news, Chinese commercial space firm LandSpace has announced plans for another recovery test of its self-developed reusable rocket, the ZQ-3, in the second quarter of 2026. The company aims to achieve the rocket's first successful recovery and reuse flight in the fourth quarter of that year. The ZQ-3 stands as China's first orbital-class liquid oxygen-methane carrier rocket. During its inaugural flight in December 2025, it successfully validated the first-stage recovery technology, although a soft landing was not achieved. Nevertheless, this flight provided crucial data for future enhancements. Should this upcoming test prove successful, it will significantly propel China's commercial space industry forward by reducing launch costs and boosting launch efficiency.
