Recently, during the 63rd session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, Chinese commercial aerospace enterprise LandSpace revealed that its reusable rocket, the ZQ-3, is set to undergo another recovery test in the second quarter of this year. At present, the ZQ-3 development team is fine-tuning the rocket's landing protocols and has scheduled yet another recovery test for the second quarter of 2026. Assuming all goes according to plan, the team also intends to carry out the inaugural recovery and reuse mission in the fourth quarter of this year. During this mission, the successfully retrieved first stage of the ZQ-3 will be repurposed for a subsequent rocket launch, thereby actualizing the concept of reusability.
