In 2025, China's commercial aerospace industry witnessed a surge of rapid growth. Throughout the year, it accomplished a total of 50 launches, which made up 54% of the nation's overall annual space launch count. Among these launches, 25 were of commercial carrier rockets. Following the commencement of operations at the Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Site, it carried out 9 launches, bringing the cumulative number of launch missions there to 10. Moreover, there were 16 other commercial satellite launches. In total, 311 commercial satellites were successfully deployed into orbit during the year, representing 84% of the entire number of satellites placed in orbit. At the technological frontier, notable advancements were achieved in reusable carrier rocket technology. The Zhuque-3 successfully completed its maiden flight, and the verification of core technologies was accomplished. In 2025, China's aerospace sector made numerous breakthroughs and achieved several firsts across diverse fields. A total of 92 launches were conducted throughout the year, setting a new historical benchmark. The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation also finished 73 space launch missions, establishing a new record as well. This included 69 launches of the Long March series and 4 launches of the Jielong-3.
