On January 16, the 2026 Nuclear Fusion Energy Technology and Industry Conference was held at the Hefei CRAFT Park. At the opening ceremony, Advanced Technology & Materials Co., Ltd and the Energy Research Institute signed an agreement on the establishment of a joint laboratory for advanced divertors and a contract for the major procurement project of BEST divertor target plates. Both parties will rely on the joint laboratory to focus on joint research and development of key nuclear fusion technologies.
