On January 15th, Counterpoint Research released a report on humanoid robots, which projected that by 2025, the number of newly installed humanoid robots worldwide would reach roughly 16,000 units. This growth is primarily propelled by the rapid expansion of their applications in fields such as data collection and research, warehousing and logistics, manufacturing, and the automotive sector. Zhiyuan Robotics leads the pack in terms of annual installations on a global scale, trailed by Unitree Robotics, UBTECH, Legu Robotics, and Tesla, which secure the second to fifth positions, respectively. The combined market share of these top five companies amounts to 73%. Looking ahead, it is anticipated that by 2027, the cumulative number of installed humanoid robots will surpass 100,000 units.
