On January 15, it was reported that Thunder, along with its subsidiary OneCloud Technology, has revived a civil lawsuit against its former CEO, Chen Lei, and his associates. The suit, which centers on "disputes over responsibilities for compromising company interests," was reinitiated after a hiatus exceeding five years. The plaintiffs are seeking a staggering 200 million yuan in compensation. Presently, the pertinent court in Shenzhen has taken up the case. The crux of the controversy lies with a company named 'Xingronghe,' which the prosecution alleges to be a 'shadow entity' orchestrated by Chen Lei, facilitating a web of illicit benefit transfers.
