On May 21, 2025, AMD took the stage at Computex Taipei to officially introduce the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, with its market release slated for June 5. Built on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture, this graphics card boasts 32 compute units and 2,048 stream processors. It comes in two memory variants: 8GB and 16GB GDDR6, catering to different user needs.
When it comes to performance, the RX 9060 XT can reach an impressive acceleration frequency of up to 3.3GHz. However, its power consumption is well-managed, ranging from 150W to 182W. In terms of connectivity, the card features a PCIe 5.0×16 interface, along with 1 HDMI 2.1b port and 2 DP 2.1a ports, ensuring seamless integration with various display devices. For optimal performance, AMD recommends pairing it with a 500W power supply (550W for overclocked versions).
One of the core selling points of the RX 9060 XT is its 16GB large memory configuration. This allows it to outperform similarly priced competitors in 1080P and 2K resolution gaming, delivering a smoother and more immersive gaming experience. Additionally, it supports FSR 4.0 technology, which further enhances image quality and frame rates, making it a great choice for gamers who demand both performance and visual fidelity.
Adding to its appeal, AMD has recently listed the Radeon RX 9060 XT LP (low-power version) on its official website. This new addition to the product lineup is designed to meet specific usage scenario demands by optimizing energy efficiency, making it an attractive option for users who prioritize power savings without compromising on performance.
