On December 9, energy storage system supplier NHOA Energy announced that it had secured a contract awarded by energy giant ENGIE. The company will supply, commission, and provide long-term maintenance for a new 80 MW/320 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at ENGIE's power station in Drogenbos, Belgium. The project is scheduled to commence construction in March 2026, with commissioning expected to be completed by September 2027.
