CATL recently issued a statement revealing that its board of directors had received a formal resignation letter from director Zhao Fenggang. Owing to changes in the company's internal governance framework, Zhao Fenggang submitted his resignation, relinquishing his roles as a director and a member of the Board of Directors' Strategic Committee. In light of this development, the board of directors has proposed Wu Yingming as a candidate for the position of non-independent director on the fourth board of directors. Additionally, Wu Yingming has been elected to join the Strategic Committee. His tenure will commence upon approval by the shareholders' meeting and will conclude at the end of the fourth board of directors' term, following the standard corporate governance practices and procedures.
