Recently, China’s first intelligent production line for small satellites has been operating at full tilt in the Satellite Industrial Park, part of the Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base in Xinzhou District, Wuhan. Just across the road, the Kuaizhou Rocket Industrial Park boasts an impressive annual production capacity of up to 20 rockets. Since construction began in 2017, this base—China’s third national-level and first commercial aerospace industrial hub—has focused on fostering rocket and satellite manufacturing enterprises. This strategic emphasis has spurred rapid growth across upstream and downstream sectors. By last year, the base’s total industrial output value had soared to 20 billion yuan.
