Xiaomi has recently carried out a series of personnel reshuffles, naming Sun Qian as the President of Tianxing Digital Technology and General Manager of its Strategic Investment Department. Sun Qian will now report directly to Lin Shiwei, who serves as both Group Vice President and CFO. Meanwhile, Yue Kai, who previously held the position of President at Tianxing Digital Technology, has been reassigned to the Finance Department as Vice President, also under the supervision of Lin Shiwei. In essence, the roles of the two executives have been interchanged.

Tianxing Digital Technology, originally known as Xiaomi Finance, underwent a name change to Xiaomi Digital Technology in 2019 and subsequently to Tianxing Digital Technology in 2020. In September 2022, Xiaomi further solidified its financial leadership structure by appointing Lin Shiwei as the concurrent Chairman of Tianxing Digital Technology, who reports to Group CEO Lei Jun. Simultaneously, Yue Kai, previously the General Manager of the Digital Industry Finance Department, was promoted to President of Tianxing Digital Technology, now reporting to Lin Shiwei.
