Zhiyuan Robotics is set to host the mass production launch ceremony for its 5,000th general-purpose embodied robot at 3:30 PM on December 8th. During the event, co-founder Peng Zhihui will make a live appearance on the broadcast, and a 'mystery VIP' user will personally take delivery of the robot at the venue. In November, the Zhiyuan Yuanzheng A2 robot successfully completed a 100-kilometer inter-provincial walking challenge from Suzhou to Shanghai, earning a Guinness World Record for the "longest distance walked by a humanoid robot." This remarkable feat was made possible by its rapid hot-swappable battery replacement system, enabling continuous operation without the need for shutdown. Zhiyuan Robotics was established by the "prodigious youngster" (Note: The pinyin "Zhihui Jun" is retained for its uniqueness; it can be translated as "genius youngster" based on context) Peng Zhihui at the end of 2022. In August 2024, the company unveiled five new commercial humanoid robot products from two series, namely the "Yuanzheng" and "Lingxi" lines.
