On December 4, Su Yiyi, the General Manager of Ningde Times Electric Ship Technology Co., Ltd., shared during the 2025 China International Maritime Exhibition that Ningde Times' ship - related operations have already seen extensive deployment in inland rivers, inland lakes, and inland seas. Currently, the company is actively pushing for breakthroughs in application scenarios, aiming to expand into the open ocean. It is projected that pure electric vessels will set sail into the open seas within the next three years. Established in November 2022, Times Electric Ship leverages Ningde Times' advanced power battery technology and is dedicated to delivering power solutions tailored for waterborne transportation. To date, Ningde Times has supplied power solutions for close to 900 ships, boasting a global market share of around 40%.
