Today, JD.com Takeout made an announcement that it will be offering custom-made heated food delivery boxes to its full-time riders, completely free of cost. According to real-world testing, the interior of these heated food delivery boxes maintains a temperature of 70℃ for up to 20 minutes after the food is placed inside. This represents a significant 20℃ increase compared to the temperature in a standard food delivery box. Even after over 60 minutes of delivery, the temperature within the box remains above 55℃. Since November 7, the first batch of these heated food delivery boxes has been in operation at 7FRESH Kitchen in Beijing. Over the next month, they will be gradually introduced in cities located in colder regions. In the future, customers will have the ability to check the real-time temperature of the food delivery box directly on the order delivery page.
