At precisely 11:32 a.m. on November 9th, the Lijian-1 Yao-9 carrier rocket, developed by CAS Space, soared into the skies from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone. Employing a 'one rocket, two satellites' strategy, it accurately delivered the Chutian-2 technology test satellites 01 and 02 into their designated orbits. This launch marked the tenth successful mission for the Lijian-1 rocket. To date, the Lijian-1 has successfully propelled 75 satellites into space, with the cumulative mass of the payloads it has placed in orbit surpassing 10 tons. This achievement positions it as the sole rocket among private commercial rocket enterprises to have attained a payload exceeding 10 tons.

When compared to the StarRiver Power Ceres-1 and the Orient Space Gravity-1, the Lijian-1 demonstrates a superior single-mission capacity. In terms of reliability, the Lijian-1 leverages data for envelope analysis and adheres to stringent product acceptance procedures. Regarding cost efficiency, it reduces expenses by streamlining processes and bolstering its in-house research and development capabilities. The Lijian-1 features a mission-agnostic design, enabling swift system recovery. It primarily caters to the small and medium-sized satellite launch market, with the cost per kilogram for single-mission launches of satellites (with a total payload under 2 tons) dipping below USD 10,000. Looking ahead, further optimizations and enhancements are planned to elevate its performance even further.
