For the first fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2026, Supermicro reported net sales amounting to US$5 billion. This figure not only fell short of analysts' projections of US$6.09 billion but also marked a decrease from the US$5.9 billion recorded during the same period in the previous year. Additionally, the gross margin contracted to 9.3%, a notable drop from the 13.1% achieved in the corresponding quarter of the prior year. Despite these challenges, Supermicro has revised its net sales forecast for fiscal year 2026 upwards, now anticipating at least US$36 billion, an increase from its earlier estimate of at least US$33 billion. Furthermore, the company projects that net sales for the second fiscal quarter will range between US$10 billion and US$11 billion, significantly surpassing analysts' expectations of US$8.05 billion.
