Industrial Robot Output Soars: China Achieves Smart Manufacturing Transformation in First Three Quarters

According to a WeChat report released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China's high-tech manufacturing sector witnessed remarkable growth during the first three quarters of 2025. Specifically, the added value generated by high-tech manufacturing enterprises of a designated size or larger rose by 9.6% on a year-on-year basis, accounting for 24.7% of the growth achieved by industrial enterprises of a designated size or larger.

The integration of intelligent technologies has accelerated significantly. Notably, production volumes of intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles, industrial robots, 3D printing equipment, and satellite navigation and positioning receivers surged by 59.9%, 29.8%, 40.5%, and 28.5%, respectively. Furthermore, the production of environmentally friendly equipment has experienced rapid expansion, with wind turbine generators, nuclear power generators, and solar cell production increasing by 72.4%, 38.9%, and 14%, respectively.
