On October 25, Mao Ning, the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, disclosed that China's "Artificial Sun" BEST (which could be elaborated upon as a specific acronym standing for a nuclear fusion device, but here we keep it as given) device is projected to be fully constructed by 2027. This device is set to make history as the world's inaugural apparatus to achieve nuclear fusion power generation. In May of this year, the assembly process for this groundbreaking device commenced in Hefei, Anhui Province. On October 1, a significant milestone was reached with the successful completion and delivery of the Dewar base—a critical component of the device's main unit. This achievement heralds the commencement of a new phase in the construction of the project's primary structure.
