According to a research report from CITIC Construction Investment, solid-state battery new technologies are continuously achieving breakthroughs, and the pace of industrialization is picking up speed. A research team, headed by Huang Xuejie from the Institute of Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully incorporated iodide ions into sulfide electrolytes. This innovation effectively tackles the challenge of solid-solid interface contact, enhancing both the battery's rate performance and safety. This advancement is anticipated to be a significant catalyst for the large-scale production of solid-state batteries. On October 15th, Dongshang Technology and Boyuan Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic agreement to deepen their cooperation in fields such as lithium iodide. This collaboration aims to drive the industrialization of key technologies involving iodide ions, overcome supply chain constraints, and expedite the commercialization of sulfide all-solid-state batteries.
