Recently, a research team at Fudan University, led by the promising young scientist Liang Jia, has made a groundbreaking achievement by successfully creating a tin-based perovskite solar cell. This innovative solar cell is not only environmentally friendly throughout its entire lifecycle, eliminating the risk of lead pollution, but it has also achieved an impressive photoelectric conversion efficiency of 17.7%, setting a new world record. The team's research, titled "Tin-Based Perovskite Solar Cells with Uniform Buried Bottom Interface," was published online in an accelerated preview by the prestigious journal Nature on the evening of October 15th, marking a significant milestone in the field of renewable energy.
