On October 12, media sources including CCTV Finance reported that Microsoft will cease providing security updates and technical support for the Windows 10 operating system beginning October 14. From this date onward, Windows 10 will no longer receive critical security patches. Continuing to use the system could expose users' computers to heightened security vulnerabilities, making them more susceptible to cyberattacks. Microsoft strongly advises users to upgrade to the Windows 11 system at their earliest convenience.
