Industry insiders have disclosed that the report concerning the verification of mineral species alteration and reserve assessment for the lithium-associated mine in Yichun, Jiangxi Province—submitted by Guoxuan High-tech this week—has secured approval from the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People's Republic of China. Additionally, the company's mineral processing tests, industrial demonstrations, mining designs, and ecological restoration strategies have also garnered concurrent approval. It has been reported that the report submitted by CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) has similarly obtained approval. Guoxuan High-tech has verified the veracity of this information, whereas CATL has refrained from providing a direct response. Based on a document issued by the Yichun Natural Resources Bureau in July, mining enterprises are subsequently required to accomplish related tasks, such as modifying the mineral species listed on their mining licenses.
