Hainan Times Electric Service, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Longhua District Government of Haikou City, planning to invest in the construction of 100 battery swap stations across Hainan Province over the next three years. Among them, 28 stations will be completed by the end of 2026, covering cities such as Haikou and Sanya, with a goal of achieving full coverage of 100 battery swap stations across the entire island by 2030. Chocolate Battery Swap will establish its Hainan Provincial Regional Headquarters in Longhua District, responsible for coordinating the battery swap station business across the province.
