On September 19, 2025, Hangzhou played host to the launch event of the Zhejiang Geespace Global Headquarters Project, along with a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. Zhejiang Geespace, a commercial aerospace firm and a subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, has entered into strategic alliances with Zhejiang Financial Holdings Investment, Hangzhou State-owned Capital Investment and Operation, as well as Hangzhou Hi-Tech Jin Tou Holdings. Under the guiding principles of “leveraging complementary strengths and fostering mutual benefits,” the involved parties will embark on project investment and cooperation endeavors, jointly striving to build a communication satellite hub. In a parallel development, Geespace has successfully obtained a 2 billion RMB investment from the Zhejiang New Energy Vehicle Industry Fund. This capital injection will be earmarked for the construction of the global headquarters project and the expansion of Geely constellation's global business footprint.
