On September 15th, during an institutional research visit, CATL unveiled that its sodium-ion battery designed for new passenger cars demonstrates outstanding performance in low-temperature energy retention and safety. In early September, the company's sodium-ion battery successfully passed the new national standard certification, marking it as the first sodium-ion battery in the world to attain such accreditation. At present, CATL is working closely with customers to promote the development and deployment of sodium-ion batteries for new passenger cars, with the project progressing smoothly.
