Recently, a netizen took to the internet to allege that their 52-year-old father, who was employed at a Midea factory, had been subjected to grueling 14-hour workdays and faced unpaid wages upon his resignation. In response, Midea Group promptly initiated an investigation, which revealed substantial disparities between the online assertions and the actual circumstances.

According to the findings of the investigation, from September 8th to 11th, the father of the poster, Mr. Zhang, maintained regular working hours at Hefei Hualing and voluntarily resigned without encountering any irregularities. His daughter, however, posted and disseminated unverified information without proper verification. Midea Group obtained attendance records and other pertinent evidence, which unequivocally confirmed that Mr. Zhang's working hours adhered to normal standards.

The issue of unpaid salary stemmed from an abnormal account status flagged by the bank system, which resulted in multiple failed payment attempts. Nevertheless, Midea Group took proactive measures and personally settled Mr. Zhang's salary on September 13th, thereby eliminating any suspicion of intentional wage arrears.

Following police intervention, the poster acknowledged the inaccuracy of the content, deleted the original post, and issued a public apology.
