Since 2020, China has set up and rolled out a nationally standardized commercial cryptography certification system. Under this system, mandatory certification has been instituted for specific commercial cryptography products. At present, the certification framework has attained a high level of comprehensiveness, embracing 32 distinct product categories. To date, over 6,000 certificates have been granted, with the average yearly growth rate surpassing 30%.
