MGI has recently introduced the newest member of its DNBSEQ series: the ultra-high-throughput gene sequencer T7+. This cutting-edge device is capable of generating over 14 terabytes (Tb) of sequencing data in just 24 hours. On average, it can complete one sequencing case every 10 minutes, which translates to 6 cases per hour, and it has the capacity to handle up to 35,000 human whole-genome sequencing cases annually. This sequencer effectively tackles the challenge of achieving both high output and rapid sequencing speeds, thereby setting a new standard for large-scale sequencing efficiency.
