In a coordinated effort with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Finance has earmarked 940 million yuan in funding specifically for agricultural disaster prevention, mitigation, and water conservancy disaster relief initiatives. This financial support is designated to facilitate the replanting and supplementary sowing of crops in regions affected by disasters across four provinces, notably Fujian and Guangdong. Additionally, it will cover the restoration of agricultural production facilities damaged by flooding, thereby safeguarding uninterrupted food production. Concurrently, the allocated funds will also assist eight provinces, including Beijing and Hebei, in expediting the repair of water conservancy engineering structures compromised by floods, ensuring the continued safe operation of water conservancy projects.
