Microsoft is poised to avert potential antitrust fines from the European Union, following positive reception of its proposed settlement regarding the alleged unlawful bundling of Teams with the Office suite. According to reports, Microsoft has committed to unbundling Teams from the Office suite and offering it as a separate product, while simultaneously reducing the price of the suite excluding Teams, in a bid to address competition concerns raised by the EU.
