The Polish express delivery giant InPost has entered into a strategic agreement with the Portuguese startup Bloq.it to deploy more than 20,000 smart parcel lockers throughout Europe. Additionally, InPost has made a minor investment in Bloq.it, which is committed to fostering the adoption of unmanned express delivery solutions in the European market. This collaboration is poised to significantly boost Bloq.it's market presence.
The initial deployment of these parcel lockers commenced in July, with installations in France and the United Kingdom. By the end of the year, the partners aim to expand their operations to Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Looking ahead, InPost plans to accelerate the deployment of parcel lockers in its core European markets over the next five years.
