The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, in conjunction with the postal service provider, has jointly announced the suspension of all postal and parcel delivery services to the United States, effective August 27th. This action stems from the impending cancellation of duty-free status for imported parcels valued at $800 and below by the United States, which necessitates the payment of full taxes and fees on such shipments. This measure will remain in place until new operational guidelines are established and clarified. Furthermore, a total of 25 nations, including Germany, Australia, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand, have also halted their mailing services to the United States for the same reason.
