In recent times, several prominent cities have listed rare assets on judicial auction platforms, featuring asking prices exceeding RMB 100 million. Amidst the surge in the luxury real estate market, transactions for properties priced above RMB 100 million have witnessed a marked increase. These high-end properties encompass newly-launched large-scale apartments, penthouse duplexes, along with scarce villas and vintage Western-style houses available on judicial auction and second-hand markets. According to statistics, Shanghai's new home market recorded 15 transactions of luxury homes priced above RMB 100 million in the first half of this year, accounting for nearly 80% of the total transactions nationwide, with a total of 19 such transactions recorded across the country. This data underscores Shanghai's preeminent position in the country's luxury property market.
