Apple has recently initiated legal action in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accusing Chen Shi, a former Apple Watch sensor system architect, of misappropriating 63 core confidential files prior to his departure from the company. These files encompass various technologies such as photoplethysmography, electrocardiogram, temperature sensing, and chip engineering data. Apple contends that Chen Shi breached a confidentiality agreement by bringing these files to OPPO, where he is currently engaged in the development of wearable devices. The tech giant is seeking a court order to prevent OPPO from utilizing the technologies implicated in the case.
OPPO has responded by stating that it has not found any evidence to substantiate Apple's allegations and that it will actively participate in the legal proceedings.
