Nikon Corporation of Japan has announced the closure of its Yokohama plant on September 30. This facility, primarily tasked with microscope production and the R&D of flat panel display manufacturing equipment, will see its production lines relocated to other facilities within Kanagawa Prefecture, as well as the Tokyo headquarters.
