Recently, Chairman Zhang Yuzhuo of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) embarked on a comprehensive research tour of PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC. During his visits, Chairman Zhang underscored the paramount importance of continually bolstering energy supply capabilities, intensifying domestic exploration and development of oil and gas resources, optimizing the allocation of overseas oil and gas assets, and actively engaging in the construction of the national strategic reserve system. He advocated for a heightened focus on transformation, urging an increase in the production of high-efficiency oil products and high value-added chemicals, the breakthrough of key core technologies, and the acceleration of the transition towards green energy.

Simultaneously, Chairman Zhang emphasized the necessity of achieving high-quality and stable growth by scientifically analyzing economic trends and market dynamics. He called for a concerted effort to strengthen internal capabilities, reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and expand effective investments. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of deepening reforms to foster more efficient and agile corporate governance structures, as well as market-oriented management mechanisms.
