PlayStation has officially announced an adjustment to the suggested retail price of the PlayStation 5 console in the United States, effective as of August 21, 2025. As a result, the standard edition of the PlayStation 5 will now retail for $549.99, the digital-only edition for $499.99, and the Pro edition for $749.99. This price hike amounts to a $50 increase across all models and does not extend to the pricing of PS5 accessories or the market prices in regions outside the United States.
