Apple App Store in China Introduces Douyin Pay as a New Payment Option, Joining UnionPay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay

The Apple App Store in China has recently embarked on a grayscale testing phase for the integration of Douyin Pay. Users can now add Douyin Pay as a payment method under the "Payment & Shipping" settings in their Apple account. Upon choosing Douyin Pay, users will be seamlessly directed to the Douyin App to complete the verification process. Once verified, there will be no need for subsequent re-verification of the Douyin Pay password for transactions within the App Store, Apple Music, AppleCare+ service plans, and iCloud. With this addition, Douyin Pay becomes the fourth payment option available in the App Store China, alongside UnionPay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.
