On August 11, local time, Brazilian Finance Minister Haddad announced that the United States had rescinded a scheduled video conference between the two countries' finance ministers, which was set to take place on the 13th. The intended purpose of the meeting was to deliberate on tariffs imposed on Brazilian goods. As of now, no new date has been arranged for the conference. To counteract the tariffs imposed by the US, the Brazilian government intends to implement three temporary measures encompassing financing, public procurement, and tax analysis in order to bolster support for Brazilian enterprises.
