The prestigious 2025 SCO Digital Economy Forum took place in Tianjin, marking a significant milestone with the official signing of numerous digital economy cooperation projects. A total of 12 collaborative initiatives were sealed by China, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Egypt, and other participating nations, spanning vital sectors like cross-border e-commerce and smart cities. Among these, the Sino-Egypt (Alexandria) Digital Intelligence High-Tech Eco-Industrial Park project garnered considerable attention. This ambitious project aims to harness China's cutting-edge technologies in cloud computing, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence to accelerate Egypt's digital transformation journey. Additionally, the forum unveiled the Collection of Typical Cases of Digital Economy Cooperation between China and SCO Countries (2025), a compilation designed to enhance exchanges and foster cooperation in digital technology among SCO member states.
