In May, the national service sector production index surged by 6.2% compared to the same period last year, showcasing significant growth within the modern services sector, particularly in the areas of information transmission, software, and information technology services. From January to May, the cumulative growth of the service sector production index stood at 5.9%, while the revenue of service enterprises exceeding a certain size rose by 7.2%. Notably, the services business activity index hit 50.2%, and the business activity expectations index climbed even higher to 56.5%, both indicators suggesting that multiple industries are thriving in a high-growth trajectory.
