The Chongqing Municipal Government has unveiled the "Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of Digital and Service Trade in Chongqing." This ambitious plan underscores the commitment to vigorously push forward the digital transformation of industries to fuel export growth. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, enterprises will be incentivized to undergo "intelligent and digital transformations," with subsidies available for eligible participants. Concurrently, the plan champions holistic solutions for export-oriented digital workshops and smart factories, aiming to accelerate the digitization of the industrial sector and facilitate its international expansion. By 2027, Chongqing aims to establish 30 cutting-edge smart factories and 300 digital workshops.

Furthermore, the plan emphasizes the importance of product upgrades and exports in key areas such as intelligent and connected new energy vehicles, low-altitude aircraft, electronic information manufacturing, cloud computing, and smart equipment. Focusing on the "Belt and Road" and RCEP markets, the goal is to enhance the high-tech value-added component of foreign trade. Additionally, through the "Three Countries, Three Parks" initiative, the plan seeks to deepen international collaboration between China, Laos, and Thailand, fostering a cross-border industrial and supply chain service hub. This collaborative effort aims to shift from a mere export of products to an export of "products + technology + standards," marking a significant step forward in Chongqing's global trade landscape.
