The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the National Data Administration have collaboratively announced the "Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry." This plan underscores the necessity of bolstering the development of new information infrastructure, which includes fostering the growth of the advanced computing sector, enhancing the integration of networks, computing data, computing power, and algorithms, and encouraging innovations in high-performance, intelligent, and cloud-edge-terminal collaborative computing. Additionally, the plan outlines measures to enhance the network distribution of edge computing centers. Concurrently, it aims to propel the deep integration of new information infrastructure within the electronic information manufacturing industry, thereby accelerating the extensive deployment of advanced computing, 5G-Advanced (5G-A), gigabit optical networks, the industrial internet, artificial intelligence, and other cutting-edge technologies.
